Central Press Journalists Association's 3rd anniversary celebration

Shri Suresh Khade ji, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra, will attend the Central Press Journalists Association's (CPJA) 3rd anniversary

Mayor, MLA, Police Chief, veteran journalists and other dignitaries will also be present on the occasion

Major announcements will also be made for the development of journalists including the launch of Kya news app for the journalists from Maharashtra

Central Press Journalist Association, is a national association dedicated to the advancement of the entire journalist community. The 3rd anniversary of this association will be celebrated on April 16, 2023 at Sangli, in the presence of Shri Suresh Khade ji, Hon’ble Labor Minister of Maharashtra and the Guardian Minister of Sangli District.

Since its inception, CPJA has worked for the development of journalists with various initiatives. Even during the Covid pandemic, the office bearers of the association from different states, had come down to the ground level and provided various types of services to the masses, such as medical services, household useful items amongst others.

"This association is my family, and as the head of the family, I am willing to do whatever is required for the development of the journalists community. We are already receiving encouraging responses and we are planning to take our initiatives in each of the districts of India in coming times, starting from Maharashtra and helping all the journalists in our family. ", said Sandeep Kasalkar, the CPJA's National President and Founder.

The anniversary celebration on 16 April 2023 will also be attended by veteran journalists from print and electronic media from across Maharashtra. The ceremony will start at 10:30 am. The said program will be held at Vishram Bagh, Khare Sanskritik Bhavan in Sangli and the chief guests on this occasion are Hon’ble Labor Minister, Maharashtra and Guardian Minister of Sangli District Shri Suresh (Bhau) Khade, MLA Shri Sudhir (Dada) Gadgil, Mayor Shri Digvijay Suryavanshi, District Bank Vice President Smt. Jayashree Tai Patil, Congress Party District President Shri Prithviraj Patil, District Police Chief Shri Basavaraj Teli and Senior Journalist Shri Dhananjay Pathak. And also Gupta, the founder of the national news app Kya News, and Director Shri Gaurav Shetye will be present on this occasion. The entire program has been organised and headed by Shri Chandrasekhar Kshirsagar and team, a distinguished journalist of Sangli district.

On this occasion, important announcements will also be made regarding various initiatives for the development of journalists, new office bearers of CPJA and the launch of Kya news app for the journalists from Maharashtra.
